Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, event or delivery date, area, approximate budget, message and any inspiration image you choose to upload. If you place an order, we may also need information required to prepare, deliver and administer it.
Client agreements and electronic signatures
Where an agreement is needed for a booking, we process relevant customer, event and venue information together with the name and signature entered by the signer. We also record the date and time of invitation, viewing and signing, acceptance confirmation, IP address, browser information and a document integrity reference. This provides a reliable record of what was agreed and helps protect both the customer and Making It Bloom.
Agreement links use secure random tokens. Signed records and signatures are held in protected systems and are not published as part of the public website. Internal notes used by Making It Bloom are not shown on the customer agreement.
How we use it
Information is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, manage bookings and payments, create the agreed flowers, send and retain booking agreements, arrange collection or delivery, maintain business records and resolve questions about an order.
Our lawful reasons
We generally process information because it is necessary to respond before entering into a contract, fulfil an order, comply with legal obligations, or pursue the legitimate interests of running and protecting the business.
Who may receive information
Information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the business, such as website hosting, email, payment or professional advisers. We do not sell personal information.
Website measurement
The live website may use analytics to understand how visitors use it. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, an appropriate consent mechanism should be used. The agreement signing page does not introduce additional tracking.
Photographs and testimonials
Customer photographs, names or testimonials will only be published where Making It Bloom has an appropriate basis and any permission required. You can ask for previously authorised material to be reviewed.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including booking administration, signed agreement evidence, legal, tax and dispute requirements. Retention periods are reviewed periodically, and records may be securely deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, object to certain processing, or request a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
